Legal Advice

In the UAE, a smart application has been released that provides free online legal services to both attorneys and the general public, such as submitting litigation cases at any time, connecting individuals to reputable lawyers in their area, and allowing defendants without money to acquire free counsel.

The UAE Ministry of Justice announced the launch of the 'Smart Lawyer' program, which will give free online legal services and guidance to the public around the clock.

The program, which can be downloaded on computers and smartphones, is designed to save attorneys' time and effort by allowing them to submit cases for litigation and other applications online and track their progress through the system without having to attend courts.

The smart system offers a variety of different court services to attorneys and allows clients to make complaints against any lawyer.
The app provides a communication platform between attorneys and the general public through the 'Online Adviser' service, where lawyers enrolled with the service may answer people's legal questions quickly.

Individuals around the country may use the new smart system to select a lawyer based on information supplied in the app about them, such as location, expertise, and experience, and then contact them through the system for legal advice or help.

The technology also enables the general public to register and get personal legal papers from courts.

The system's 'Legal in Your Own' service allows defendants without attorneys or those who desire legal counsel but don't have the funds to pay for it to request free assistance.

The defendant must offer all information regarding their case to the competent counsel who has agreed to represent them in court. The defendant will then be given the name of the counsel.
