In 2010, founder Heather Parker grew frustrated when her sweet and scruffy foster dog, Lucky, repeatedly got overlooked at adoption events. She decided to turn that frustration into inspiration and sewed him a stylish bow tie to help him stand out at the next adoption event. The next weekend Lucky found his forever family and Crew LaLa was born.

Named after Crew, her beloved Chocolate Labrador, Crew LaLa officially launched online in 2011 with a collection of stylish and durable American-made bow tie collars, dog bandanas and leashes for pets. What began with a desire to help one foster dog has since grown into an internationally recognized pet accessories brand with features including Cosmopolitan Magazine, Southern Living Magazine, Business Insider, NBC Nightly News and The Today Show. In 2015, Crew LaLa opened its flagship brick and mortar store in Charleston, South Carolina, for customers to shop with their pups. As the company grew, so did their need to expand. In 2020, Crew LaLa moved their headquarters and boutique into a new 2,500 square foot facility in Charleston. Here, customers have the unique opportunity to shop the collection or work directly with the design team to create a custom look. From the boutique, Heather and her team of talented creatives and seamstresses can be seen working away in the design studio.
